Medtax 4.0 is here
Hi Doc, the upgrade we've been working on is finally here. Here's the schedule, and what it means for you.

What you need to do
- By 10:00 AM on September 9, please update the app (best to delete it and reinstall).
- You'll be asked to reset your login. Here are three ways to do it:

Message your AM for a separate reset link. This is done manually and may therefore take a little longer so please use Option 1 or 2 if possible.
What's changed
- Once you log in, the interface is significantly different.
- The system underneath has been rebuilt from the ground up.
- Because of that, some data and files from the old app need to be transferred by hand. This can take a little time, and we'll help you through it.
How the new system helps you
- Electronic scanning. When you upload a document, the system reads it for you. If it's sure, it goes into your profile right away. If it's not sure, it asks you to confirm, or sends it to your account manager.
- Straight into your books. Once a document is approved, it goes right into your books and tax computations.
- Instant figures. Your books and taxes are ready right away. No more waiting for anyone to compute them.
- 2307 and invoice matching. The system finds each 2307 and matches it with the right service invoice. It checks the two, makes any needed adjustments, and flags anything that doesn't add up, so you stay compliant with the BIR.
- Service invoice generator. Not sure how to issue a service invoice? The system makes a draft for you and guides you, so you always give clients the right document.
- And more.
What's next
- In-app chat. We're moving off Viber and into chat built right into the app.
- Data Privacy Layer. Next, we deploy a layer whose job is to anonymize and protect your identity.
- AI, soon. You know how much easier AI can make things. We'll switch it on only once the Data Privacy Layer is in place.
