Version 4.1.1
Hi Doc, here's what's new in Version 4.1.1.
New features
Some are new, and some are features from the old app that we have now brought over.
- Opening a document. You can now tap any income or expense document to open it. It shows the whole file and everything we read from it.
- Your billing statements are now here to view and download, so you can see what you have been billed, paid, and still owe.
- Pay and track. After you pay a statement, send it in from the app with a photo of your proof. You can then see all your payments and their status, and if one is turned down, you will see why.
- Your account at a glance. Your Medtax account number, plan, status, amount, and next billing date now sit right in your profile.
- A quick refresh. Just pull down on your profile to refresh it.
Updated Terms and Conditions
We have updated our Terms and Conditions, effective September 29, 2026. The biggest change is account progression, which now spells out, step by step, what happens to your account and your information if a payment is missed, and how to bring everything back. We have also refreshed the parts covering your data, our AI features, and what each of us is responsible for. You can read the full terms anytime, and your account manager is happy to walk you through anything that is unclear.
Read the updated TermsAccount progression is part of the updated terms, effective September 29, 2026. We are easing it in with a soft transition, so it begins applying to accounts on October 5, 2026 instead.
Pausing and resuming your service
You can now pause and resume your Medtax service on your own, right from your profile. If a payment is missed, your account moves through a series of steps, up to two years, rather than stopping all at once. This gives you room to structure your tax plans, keep your documents protected, and reactivate whenever you are ready, while letting us focus our efforts where they are mutually beneficial for us and our paying clients.

- The home screen could say something was waiting for review when nothing was.
- The subscription section of your profile was blank.
- The version number shown in your profile was stuck at 4.0.0.
- Signing out showed an error, and could leave the previous account's information on the phone.
